Electric Drive Management System
The electric drive system includes the drive motor, transmission, and motor controller, mainly comprising the inverter control board, drive board, and power control unit control board.
- On pure electric vehicles, the inverter and controller are combined in the motor controller (MCU), which is the control center of the entire powertrain. The controller receives the demand signals of the drive motor; when the vehicle brakes or accelerates, the controller adjusts the frequency rise/fall of the inverter to move the vehicle.
- The Power Control Unit (PCU) is the main controller of new energy hybrid vehicles.
