Battery Management System
Battery Management System (BMS) is the main controller unit of the power battery in new energy vehicles, located inside the power battery pack. As the management and control unit of the power battery, the BMS connects with other vehicle controllers via the CAN bus for information exchange. The BMS detects signals such as voltage, current, temperature and insulation of the power battery in real time, and calculates the battery pack SOC, SOH and SOX based on the collected information. The BMS also enables controlled high-voltage input and output of the power battery through the control of the cooling system, relay assembly, and charging/discharging.
